Operated by Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (JAPIA) Corporation, Paramaribo-Zanderij International Airport is the primary international gateway of Suriname. Zanderij International Airport is the main hub of Suriname's national carrier Surinam Airways that offers flights to Amsterdam, Aruba, Belem, Georgetown, Miami, Port of Spain and Curacao. KLM, Caribbean Airlines, Insel Air, Caribbean Commuter Airways and Meta Linhas Aereas are other airlines that operate flights to and from Paramaribo-Zanderij International Airport. Both Surinam Airways and KLM Airlines have three weekly direct flights from Amsterdam to Paramaribo-Zanderij International Airport.
