Earlier known as Son Sant Joan Airport, Palma de Mallorca Airport ( PMI ) is a joint public and military airport serving Palma de Mallorca city of Spain. One of the busiest airports in Europe, Palma de Mallorca Airport is the third biggest airport in Spain after Barajas Airport (Madrid) and Barcelona Airport (Barcelona). Palma de Mallorca Airport covers an area of 6.3 sq. km and it has three asphalt runways and four passenger terminals. Besides being a major hub for Air Berlin, Palma de Mallorca Airport also serves to many airlines like Air Europa, BMI, Bmibaby, Condor Airlines, EasyJet, Hamburg International, Lufthansa, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways.
