About Kuwait Airways
Kuwait Airways is the national airline and national flag carrier of Kuwait and is member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization. It was formed by a group of Kuwaiti businessmen in 1953 but started to operate in 1954. International flights are operated throughout the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, Europe, Southeast Asia and North America. Government has taken its 50% share. In 1963 the government has increased its participant to 100%. The main base of this airline is situated at Kuwait International Airport and from this airport flights to various domestic and international destinations are operated.

The fleet of this airline is consists of 17 aircrafts which include three A320, 200s, three A310, 300s, five A300, 605Rs, four A340, 300s and two Boeing B777s.
