The Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) serves the city of Chiang Mai in Thailand, and is considered to be a major gateway to the country, handling more than 2 million passengers and 15,000 flights annually. More than 10 airlines operate services from here, and these are: Air Mandalay, AirAsia, Bangkok Airwaysm, China Airlines, Korean Air, Lao Airlines, SilkAir, Nok Air, One-Two-Go Airlines, and SGA Airlines amongst others. The airport is a joint civil and military airport, and has two terminals, one domestic and the other international. Chiang Mai International Airport is located at an elevation of 316 metres above sea level, and it has one runway, measuring 3100x45 metres.
