Alaska Airlines Checked Baggage Allowance
- All passengers on Alaska Airlines are allowed to carry one hand baggage and a personal item (such as a purse or briefcase or laptop bag). One of these should be stowed under the seat and the other one should fit the overhead bin.
- The carry-on bag size limit for flights is 22'' x 14'' x 9'' - these dimensions include the wheels and handles. Be sure to measure your bag carefully, before you fly.
- You can buy check-in baggage allowance during online check-in, at a kiosk or any ticketing counter. Standard bag fees (weight up to 50 lb. and maximum dimension of 62”) are – USD 30, USD 40 and USD 100, for first bag, second bag and third + additional bags, respectively.
- Certain items, such as strollers, car seats, and mobility aids are exempt from baggage charges.

Oversized baggage that weigh between 51 lb. and 100 lb. and oversized bags whose linear dimension is 63” to 115” are subjected to an additional charge of USD 100.
