The Silvertips Kothamangalam( Ayurvedic Resort and Convention centre)

This was, hands down, the worst guest experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, the service was shockingly poor. The reception staff did not listen to complaints, refused to address my concerns, and were consistently unhelpful and dismissive. I stayed at Silverteips last weekend with my family. Basic amenities like toothpaste and a brush were not available. The main reason I chose this hotel was for my daughter to enjoy the swimming pool. At check-in, I asked the reception about the pool closing time, and they told me it was open until 7 o’clock. However, when we went, the pool had already closed earlier. The next morning, I planned again for my daughter to swim, but the pool was closed once more because the hotel had arranged another function in that area. Guests were given no prior notice, and it was extremely disappointing. I travel frequently, and this is the first time I have ever faced such an issue. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a professional or family-friendly experience.

All amenities were below par. Even morning coffee was not available. But staff were helpful. Drinking water should be available in plenty and not rationed.

The location is good, however there was no natural light in the room. Could be the location of the room we got.

Nice place and awesome room. Very nice service. We enjoyed a lot. The food was very delicious. The quantity of food is very worth the price.

There was no hot water. Breakfast counter was a chaos with literally no food.

Rooms were very clean. Food was very delicious. Our kids were excited to swim in the pool but the pool was closed. It was mentioned ayurvedic spa hotel. When we went there to check the spa, there some people including one doctor doing nothing but they said they are very busy cannot accommodate massage in short time. We were there for one night only. So this is an average hotel with clean rooms but don't expect any extra activities from them.

Hotel silver-tips is a great place to stay, good clean and well maintained rooms, also the restaurant is very nice.
