Extremely rude staff and zero hospitality

I had an extremely disappointing stay at The Roman Park, Durg. Despite charging a premium price night for a regular room, the hotel fails to deliver even the most basic standards of hospitality. The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. Any issue I faced, whether it was a non-functional shower or a broken TV.. took close to an hour to be resolved, and only after I followed up multiple times. At one point, when I requested help with the TV, the receptionist casually suggested changing my room instead of sending someone to fix it. The hotel was visibly under-occupied,yet somehow the quality of service was so low.. You’d expect better service when there are fewer guests, but that clearly wasn’t the case here. To make matters worse, they don’t provide mineral water on the day of checkout, which is just baffling for a hotel that charges a premium rate. In fact, they seem to have an odd policy where mineral water isn’t offered at all without extra hassle or on the day of checkout. The overall maintenance is poor. Despite claiming to have central air conditioning, the lobby and corridors were hot and stuffy, making the entire experience uncomfortable from the moment you enter. I’m genuinely appalled by the lack of basic hospitality and would strongly recommend looking for alternative accommodations in Durg. This was money down the drain, an experience I would not wish on any other traveler.

familyOn my request to extend my stay, the manager at the reception misbehaved and was very rude in his discourse. Despite of informing to extend the stay in the morning he kept saying "i don't have your booking for today" & kept asking me to book again from wherever i want.

coupleThere is no privacy in room any one can enter to your room while it is locked . Staff behaviour is also very poor and there is no proper menu for complimentary dinner or lunch over all it is a very bad experience never recommend it to anyone..MAJOR REASON IS PRIVACY

Poor house keeping

The room was good, but the housekeeping was terrible. There was no supply of hot water for first 24 hours. The housekeeping team made a mess of the washroom while checking. The locker was not in good condition. The staff at the reception were not good enuf. Arrangements for driver needed.

Poor food taste and very short menu.

I stayed there for 2 days, experience was terrible. The food menu in room had only 2 pages of food options. Moreover food taste was poor. I had heard a lot of good things about the hotel but it was nowhere near to it. On the last day when i was about to check out, before even i left room, they asked someone else to occupy my room. A woman was knocking my door and then i got a call saying if you're planning to extend the visit we need to change your room!

Bad experience bad service

My experience was so bad. They charged around 1000 inr for dinner and did not deliver dinner. They said we don’t have buffet when i go to have dinner after that they select two vegetable from their side and sent to me. Also at the breakfast time they did not give breakfast in time first they said 7. 30 then they said 8. 30 then at 9. 30 they give se just tea. Very poor service
