Worst service, poor water service, ac not working. Bad smell from room.

Location is ok but hygiene & cleaning is very poor,

Rooms are not clean, no water at bathrooms, drinking water not available moral less is hotel is not for family & group.

We are seen most worst hotel in our life.

Poor coordination between make my trip and hotel as hotel had not received the confirmation of the booking till the last minute

I am not at all satisfied, as I was asked to give the entire amount for 3 days but went for just one day.

You have to also connect and tie up with the cruise with the hotel, otherwise no meaning. So just not see the hotel rates only, but the whole package rate.

Good, found the location was fine, travel package was good, food should be of your choice so keept it optional

A poorly maintained resort with untidy rooms and shabby looks. The bed spreads and blanket were too dirty to be used. The room was dusty full of cobwebs and lot of muck around. The standard of toilet was far below the expected standards. No electricity supply and A. C. Could be used only after 8 pm. No means of transport available for commuting till market. Quality of food was OK but too costly and not worth it's price. Overall it is always to be avoidable and not worth the high price being charged. It is recommended to be removed from the list of resorts listed on MMT. People get stuck there with high expectations as per the rates shown and lands up there disappointed. Spoils the overall pleasure of the visit to the island. Paid almost Rs 14000 for two days incl food and it was not worth even 4000 also.

Overall experience was very good and very relaxing. Clean surroundings and good stay. Lacks amenities, no tv makes after dark hours boring, no internet connections. Food is nice but costly. Lovely folk dancing performances in the evening is worth a visit.

Almost everything were fine there, boating, food. Hot water and electricity. They also provide us some guide for us. So we can enjoyed each and every moments. They also arranged some local dance programme for us.

Good experience overall. Enjoyed the idyllic charm of the place. The serenity of the place is magical. One note of caution though: do not fall into the trap of the local vendors of honey and sweets. They ask for exorbitant prices and quality is appalling.

Sundarban Gateway Resort is a hotel is located about 7 kms from Gosaba Ferry ghat. Not possible to reach hotel nor with auto nor with rickshaw, just by foot about 2 kms. They have nicely painted mud huts for guest rooms and a wide garden with a pond. Facilities are up to the mark, but not well managed. The hotel location is good just for a walk through the rural village. Pakhiralaya market is at 1 km distance from here. And at the same distance there is Jetty for entry in Sunderbans NP. The rooms of the hotel are clean, what I am not able to say about bedsheets, which seemed used already for many guests. I asked them for to change and they did it. Staff behaviour is friendly and some hotel staff was even walked with me to the market place just to be sure everything is well. But unfortunately the same I can’t say about manager. I asked manager about possible shared boat into Sundarbans NP, but he offered me just a private tour what was very expensive for me as a single traveller. I asked him also for some possibility to go for some cultural programme in the evening, but got declined and instead of that offered a private dance program for a very expensive rate. So I felt like stuck ed at this place and not able to do anything there for some reasonable price. I walked around Pakhiralaya and found many hotels with much more better attitude to their guests. There is a restaurant providing Indian as well continental food, but much overpriced. The hotel has not WiFi and electric power only from generator. Actually it was for me a special day, that way I was chooses a hotel for a little higher cost, but all my dreams ended very soon and I was not able to enjoy my stay at this place. As I am a tourist group leader with a very big experience in India so next time I will bring to Sundarbans a group of tourists and definitely will stay at some another hotel, and will not advice this stay for another travellers too.

Food not up to the mark yet exorbitantly charged. Bed spreads looked quite dirty .. There was something lying on the floor .. We called them to clean it and tge house keeping staff brushes ir asude with hus foot .. Water clogging in toilet. No hot water. Couldnt take Bath for there .. We had not selected any package but the hotel manager/owner said he would arrange the same .. We were 8k charged as boat ride and permit. We repeatedly asked him if it was reasonable .. He said yes .. On our way back when we met other tourists we were realized we were looted by the hotel .. None of them had paid that much for a boat ride .. We were taken for a ride. Manager was like evening we'll have chicken pakoda .. Like it was being served complimentary .. And he charges for it too .. Feeling quite cheated .. Would not recommend

Present stay, great hospitality, tastey homely food, evening JHUMUR NACH was awesome, boat safari was very wonderful, resort premise was very beautiful, location was very nearer to ferry ghat, overall a great Sundarban experience.

Road was too slippery and both side water was there so one wrong step means danger to your life. Again you will not get any medical facility. Organisers are sitting in Kolkata and just reply from their side that contact any time we will help you out. But good for nothing. Mobile services are very scarce and net is not available. No WiFi from resort. No are there in rooms. It seems that you return to one century back.

Location was just on the river side .. Property is very bog and well maintained. Service was fantastic .. They arranged balance everything including boat & all very well. Food arranged on the boat from hotel kitchen itself. Service was proper from all the angles ..

The location of the hotel is in the city. The services of the staff were very good. Middle of the village, just next to the river. The appearance of the hotel was good. The rooms and the amenities were really good in this hotel. The food served in the hotel restaurant was good.

Middle of the village - next to the river - great food - awesome staff - keep it guys - best place to explore - the safari boat could be made accessible on the property ghat - highly recommended - this property is located in a zero electricity village - property is backed by a generator. Cheers!
