Sri Baalaaji Grand

Stay was really good. The rooms were clean and neat. very spacious and it was located at a prime location which made it very easy to visit the temples.

Hotel rooms are excellent, very well maintained, clean, tidy and spacious. Bathrooms are very clean and hygienic. Lightings are good. Pricing looked to be on the higher side but the hotel didn't disappoint for the price. It's located in prime location just walkable from Kumbeshwar and Sarangapani temples. You have a pharmacy below. There is a restaurant attached to it which serves quality vegetarian options. However, we don't have any grocery or fruit shop options closerby. Parking and driver accomodation available Otherwise good and comfortable stay.

It was pleasant staying at Balaji grand. Awesome location. Located very close to Temple and in the heart of Kumbakonam town. Hotel rooms are well maintained. Especially the food they serve at their in house restaurant is very nice. We had chance to have lunch and bfast. Lunch was top notch. Bfast is very good ....at reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this and will choose this in future. One small inconvenience factor is that they have limited car parking facility.

Rooms were okayish! Room service could have been better. Ordered dinner on the first day to be delivered to the room. First they said it will be delivered in 45 mins, food we ordered were only Idli and Dosas. 20 mins later we checked on the status, still they said it will take another 45 mins. 5 mins later called them and cancelled the order and they sounded very happy that we cancelled the order. On the day of the checkout, we went to their restaurant to have breakfast. Restaurant has only 28 seats (only 7 tables) and they had 5 people serving the customers. But no one came to take order from us and from the next table. Couple of them were fighting among them, couple of them were chit chatting with themselves and regular customers. I am not sure what they were hearing even after we called them to our table to take order. Nobody cared about anything. Front office person was speaking like he was the customer and we were serving him. If you want a decent stay, you may choose this place. If you are expecting a good serving or good food, please forget staying here.

Overall it was good. Food choices are limited in the restaurant. Most items were over by 8.30 pm.

location wise it is an excellent place with close proximity to all main temples like AdiKumbeswarar,Sarangapani,Ramasamy etc.Staff at reception and Restaurant are very cordial and receptive with heartful intent of hospitality.Would recommend to all

Overall it was a good experience and the stay was comfortable.. the bed was good.. toilets were clean but no toilet papers.. Resturant is available in ground floor but they could have given complimentary breakfast for the amount collected. This place is closer to many main temples which are the key tourist attractions... Staffs very very kind and helpful.. including security..

For the price they charge in Kumbakonam they should include breakfast in the tariff.

Very bad room they are providing because we get the very bad room...no clean room...no ...proper lock for booth room door....no clean bedseet....no clean pillows no clean towels everything is very bad ...and inaskd for the another room...but theydint evn talk about that..

very big rooms and bathroom. Walkable distance to 3 major temples which are visible from 4th floor hotel room on temple side. 2 big balconies. Food is tasty and economical. Limited car parking.

Hotel is centrally located. Rooms are big and comfortable, restaurant provides good food and is economical. Driver accommodation and car parking is available. Room service is also prompt. Overall nice place for temple visits and stay.
