Saramsa Resort

The resort is very nice, clean, at a serene location in ranipool (10 km from gangtok) but it's very far from main gangtok mg marg. You will need to hire cab to reach to gangtok. The manager at the resort is very helpful. He took really good care of me. This is the best place if you want to stay away from the city in the lap of a nature.

Very nice stay and behaviour of staff is very good. Serving food is also very nice maintains hygiene they even arranged taxi for airport quickly at the end moment very helpful quick service quick response

Quality should improve a lot. Water problem should also be improved.

Hotel is located at very quirt place, rooms were neat and clean. Bathroom was excellent

Pleasant stay. Cooperative, helpful and polite managers and staff. We reached at night I fell very unwell. The following days brought out the best hospitality from the managers Rakesh and Ravi and the rest of the staff at Saramsa Resort. Suggestion the food timings could be more relaxed and at leisure of the guests and charge the price, if that is needed.

Nestled among Gangtok Hills, with thick forest around your room window, plenty of nature all around. A nice quiet place for your vacation, wished could have spent more time. Rooms are actually suites, did not expect such large rooms. Ravi was particularly very cooperative and helping. Took care of us just like family. Thanks Ravi and Rakesh and all ever smiling hotel staff.

Very good food and excellent staff

The hotel is good room with lot of space. Staff is very polite and prompt in service. As a Resort the could have add more sports and games facilities.

Stayed with the family for three days. The staff Mr. Armaan and Ashish were attending us on time whenever we need. The manager especially helpful and very receiving. We may visit again in future.

We stayed at saramsa for 3 days the entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Mr Rajen Lama who helped us with many things be it local purchasing and cab assistance. Truly the team there goes extra mile for customer service and creating a delight.

The staff is very humble and cooperative. The food is awesome and service is very good. The rooms are vast and very comfortable. Since it is away from the city, it's very peaceful and the humming sound of Teesta river makes it very surreal. We enjoyed a lot.

Saramsa Resort is quite a value-for-money proposition. The rooms are fairly large, comfortable, well furnished with good privacy and with an independent balcony view of green river valley below. The other amenities like the TV, bathrooms, AC. Etc too are also good and functional. If you are a nature lover, you will be able to specially enjoy the surroundings by taking long quiet walks from the Hotel in the hilly terrain. This is a special attraction which the Resort offers to those who like to be one with nature. There is even a garden within walking distance. The Resort is not located in the hub of Gangtok but the staff willingly arrange for taxis for sightseeing etc. To Gangtok and other attractions around at standard rates. The staff is very helpful and cooperative overall, like we had to check-out very early (at 5am) and they were indeed up to the mark - individually packed breakfast and all! The Manager, Mr. Madhu Sandal deserves a special mention for giving his personal attention to his guests - giving a call to describe the location and the route to your taxi driver to reach the Saramsa Resort, offering a notable welcome with a special Sikkimese-scarf for each guest etc. The breakfast is quite sumptuous and served as per choice. The food preparations, however, need and could do with vast improvements in preparation and freshness. We were at the Resort in mid-June which is towards the end of the 'season' and the occupancy was rather low.
