We came here with family. There was a very bad smell at the reception itself. There is no cleanliness at all. The kitchen is very dirty. Our experience was very bad.

Unhygienic and terrible stay

Food, Amenities and services are terrible. Quilts, pillow are so old and dirty, one would even hate to even touch it. Room’s interior, window, bathroom door, main door latch all in a very poor state. No internet service at all.

coupleThis was the worst travel-ling experience i have had. I wasted my money totally and if you want to do it too you can book this hotel. The hotel starting from its reception is very untidy. Furniture of this hotel looks many years old. Room was very dirty. Pillow cover and bed sheet were not clean. They were literally yellow.

The stay at saama heights was not satisfactory. There was a major issue with water availability. The amenities were about average and there was no heater in the room, which is particularly surprising considering the very cold conditions there.

groupIt is dirtiest of dirtiest property i have ever seen my life. The hotel from rom the entrance to all over the building it stinks like rotten vegetable and fish as we experience in some markets. I feel like vomiting as i entered the rooms. I curtailed my stay to one day though i hsd paid in full gore two days. I wonder how mm t endorses this property as of now. Pls chk for yourself before promoting such rotten stuffs

The hotel is beautifully located. Baspa river at walking distance. However, the property, including rooms require adequate maintenance. Management should look into it. Quality food is available. Staffs are polite and provides prompt service. Overall an enjoyable stay.

soloPost the location of the hotel is beautiful vistas and has a nice small restaurant too. The service of the staff really makes it good.
The staff really made my stay comfortable and helped me. The hotel has all comforts i can hope for in such a remote location and work honestly for all their guests. I was there for a week and had an awesome stay. Full credit to jaswinder ji and vicky bhai and all their staff for this.

A home far from home

coupleThere was heavy snowfall and the temperature was way below zero, but the hotel staffs greeted us well. Room was spacious, geyser was there working 24hrs, clean bed and quilts. Staffs were always attentive, caring. Had a great meal there. Outstanding stay it was.

Poor Stay

I went with my special child who is very fond of watching TV while staying in the room. Although Tv was present in the room, it was not functioning because the card in the set top box needed to be recharged. When asked to recharge, the manager told me that the dish was malfunctioning and in spite of several requests, the company was not sending any technician for its repair. The actual fact was that the STB was intentionally not recharged to save money. Besides this, although several items were mentioned in the menu of the restaurent, 90% of them were unavailable.

It is true that in spite of recharge STB has issues and the technician is not coming to resolve it. We are constantly following up with them to do the needful as it affects our reputation too. Regarding limited food options. Kindly note that it is our endeavor to serve fresh food and we ourselves face difficulty in the procurement of ingredients due to the distant location of the place. As a result, not all on the menu can be made available all the time. Your both points are noted and we shall see to it that we try our best to resolve it to avoid disappointment. Best hotel to stay in Chitkul. It is like staying in the lap of the mountains. Very friendly and helpful group of staff. We traveled with our 5-year-old daughter who is very fussy about food, so the staff cooked us food separately for our kid which made our stay all the more delightful.
