Rajmahal Palace -Kanota Hotels (Near Bisalpur Dam)

No was there the hotel was out off service, the maintenance work is going pols ask the property to return my payment do not take their booking and refund the payment

The palace is beautifully located on the bank of ban-as river providing mesmerizing view and having splendid garden, bagh. Suite was beautifully decorated with traditional art paintings and heritage furniture. Food is delicious on all counts, lot of variety is available. Guard "gabbar" - a doberman keeps vigil all around. Services are par excellence, staff is available round the clock to serve you in traditional ways.

Location- hotel is right next to the lake with great view. Approach- last 7-8 kms approach road is in really bad condition. Food- food is excellent at decent price. Staff- staff is courteous, polite and helpful. Room- rooms are well decorated, spacious and comfortable. We stayed there for a night and were alone on the property, staff was really helpful and courteous. Good for a peaceful stay with friends and family.

I’ll start with the property, if you are retrophiliac then this place is for you, absolutely quaint and quiet. Although, you will not find a written food menu there but whatever the options they have are deliciously cooked, especially the chicken curry we had. You can get breakfast like poha or eggs and rajasthan cuisine like gatta masala. The bisalpur dam is just half an hour away from the palace, you can enjoy your evenings there and boat ride too. Since there isn't much to do nearby, it is excellent for short vacations of up to three days. I personally loved the place as it gave me all that nostalgic vibe which i always seek, the river is just adjacent to the palace so you will have a good look from the garden. There are a certain things that might upset you are the routes and roads to reach the palace but again it is in the village area so you cannot expect much. I feel the property should have some more amenities like bathtubs as the bathrooms are fine in the size, menu cards would be convenient to order food and the biggest- swimming pool would make it a perfect staycation. I will visit the palace again in the rainy days and i would suggest you also to visit once at least.

Wonderful heritage stay, with old world charm

We planned for a weekend getaway from jaipur in a group of 7 people. After a drive of 2hours 20minutes from jaipur to tonk district the property welcomes you with the heritage grandeur. With lush green gardens, scenic mountain surroundings and royalty of a haveli, this place is a perfect getaway. The care taker prem ji is welcoming and has been at the property for more than 40years. The rooms are big and spacious with a heritage architecture. The water reservoir behind the property can be witnessed from pretty much all the rooms. The bisalpur dam is kms from the hotel and is a must must visit. The dam also have a few good places to spend time with family and kids like aquarium, temples etc limited yet delicious food is served as per the daily menu. We loved the lal maas served in dinner. Overall it's a great experience and definitely a recommendation for anyone who wants to relax and get out of the hustle bustle of day to day lives.

Absolutely cheated. Bad, bad very bad

Nice and cordial staff. Amazing hospitality. Old Heritage rooms with out television. Superb food. There is nothing much to do except Bisalpur dam which is approx 8 KM away and should be visited around Mansoon, certainly recommended for one night stay..

Superb experience with very helpful staff. The rooms were lovely as was the location. Could use a bit more maintenance though as paint is pealing in some rooms and orchard needs maintenance. The approach road is a village road so spotty in places. Located about 35kms from Tonk in the Aravallis.

A very good property to stay. The only negative is the approach road. Also location is in a village. But besides that the staff is very hospitable. They have beautiful gardens and nice rooms. Not luxurious but good.
