1 Star Hotels in Varkala

It's a very peaceful resort.. And initially I read that it was right in front of the beach and you could see the beach from the stay. We booked a beach facing room and the catch was the resort is on a cliff so it's technically beach facing but doesn't give one the satisfaction. The management is too old and they should upgrade and get better people to work for them. The place is nice and is close to a lot of eateries located on Varkala cliff. It was worth the money.

Location is excellent. Though no extra amenities are provided except WiFi but it's decent value for money. They do not allow early check in but they did let us keep our luggage till evening after checking out. Overall it's a good place to stay !!

Reception and hospitality was good. Only drawback was not getting South Indian food, otherwise the stay was good & worth the value for money. Sea view was good. I would definitely like to visit again.

Hotel is interior, no TV, rooms are small, manager is ok. No restaurant near by, very less facilities, parking also to do little bit far. Will not get transportation also easily, small short cut to cliff, but need to walk more for main beach.

It was a pleasant experience. Rooms were clean and location is very near to beach courteous house owner . He also arranged auto at 3:30 am for railway station over all "value for money".

I booked hotel for two nights with breakfast. Reached hotel at 7. 30pm, easily check in. After entering room I felt that I can't stay and told manager to provide me AC room. All rooms were empty and he was ready to give me AC room with payment of difference of both types room. I was surprised to see AC rooms which are on top of hotel made by wood, all 3 rooms AC were not working and then decided to stay in Non AC room. My rooms door lock was broken and easily open from outside, bathroom has no bucket or mug, no TV, suffocating room etc. I immediately rushed to reception but nobody was there. One guard was present who is chef of restaurant, service boy, manager after 8 pm etc. I asked him mobile no of manager but he was unable to provide me the same. Anyhow I alongwith my family spent that night without sleeping. In the morning we checked in another hotel. We cannot forget that horrible experience. If anybody wants to experience the worst and horrible hotel, book this hotel. I have never seen this type of worst hotel. Never recommend to anybody for this hotel. Again all information given online are false even position of the hotel is wrongly shown on website and also in google map. All information is prepared for cheating the travellers. I requested Makemytrip to delist the hotel name from its website.

Candle light s so perfect for couples Mind Relaxing We can hire bikes with reasonable price (for 24hrs).. You can visit aquarium and within 2kms of distance you can explore loads.. Cliff is breathtaking.. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

A hell of an experience. The hotel is isolated from the marketplace and the food provided by the hotel was not praiseworthy. The room was pathetic with water dripping from the ceiling, bathroom taps not functional and the clothes were destroyed by rats. To add to the disappointment, the hotel owner charged extra money after checkout, blaming makemytrip for the promotional discount provided to us.

Located on the edge of the Varkala cliff. Rooms are sea facing. The road leading to the hotel is through the market and extremely narrow making it difficult for cars to travel. But the property is worth staying at in Varkala.

Very nice hotel to stay in. Manager Mr Sudhish babu really is very kind and helpful . Property nearby station and beach and cliff only 10 minutes far from the hotel . We enjoyed our stay. Should definitely visit this hotel .
