Wonderful stay
The awesome place was comfortable for the family. Nice very tidy and comfortable tents with all the facilities equipped within. Hospitality was great and especially the manager who was an ex-army person. The food was good.
Average experience
Pros: Excellent location. Hardly 200 ft from the lake. Super deluxe camps with attached bathroom with running water. Cons: Average food, short of staff who is not that capable. Reaching the camp is quite some task.
Stay review
Team MMT you should delist this property from your website, I had booked it thinking a credible OTA is recommended so should be Worth it. The food was bad, just not Worth the money. The camp has an excellent location about 100 meters away from Pangong Lake but that is the only benefit it gives. They don't provide basic facilities like clean linen.
Terrible never book this place
We reached this place only to hear that there is no booking in your name. With a family of 9 including senior citizens, kids and that too in Pangong was not expected. Finally, the manager in concerned showed some mercy on us and gave 3 very pathetic tents, food very very bad, staff not at all supportive and despite requesting to give some water in the taps for toilet he did not bother, finally we had to use Bisleri for the same. Morning breakfast was again the worst I have ever had, we do not give the same to even our maids.
Disappointed with the service
Though they had confirmed our reservations for the next afternoon, we arrived after a grueling 6 hr drive to find no preparation had been made for us - no lunch nothing. There was not a soul in the camp. We were the only guests, a fact which in hindsight, is not surprising. The 'Manager' turned out to be a local rustic lad with no qualification except that he was related to the owner, who hardly ever comes to check in on his place. The food was average. The facilities are minimal- hot water in one bucket is delivered every morning, electricity is available only between 7 pm and 11 pm every day. The staff is untrained and unmotivated, except for a Nepali boy named Rejayan who showed some initiative. However, the location of the camp is good, and one can walk to the banks of the beautiful Pangong Lake in 2 minutes.
