Mountain Resort Khali Estate

Had a wonderful stay with very good food and services by the staff.

Located in the sanctuary, one of the best resorts I have stayed in. Picturesque location, excellent hospitality. Can improve a little on cleanliness. But you should visit it.

We stayed at Khali estate for 2 nights. It has a very good campus with superb old bunglow and Library. You can enjoy playing Badminton along with the view of snow capped mountains. Food and restaurant service was really good. Don't miss their Sunset with evening tea. Rooms were clean and good. I would advise Khali estate to improve thir room cleaning service. Their Price for the cottage is too high. Overall it is a nice and simple place to relax.

Khali Estate inside Binsar WLS is an ideal place to relax and to stay close to nature for a few days. If you like nature, if you want to spend a few days away from the tension of city-life, Binsar Khali Estate should be the ideal choice for You. We spent just one night here. But I am sure, I would visit this on many occasions in future. Whenever I would feel tired of my daily routines in my city, get tired of the daily professional tensions, I would return to the lap of Nature at Khali Estate, Binsar the right.

This was an amazing experience for us. You will feel at home just for the heartfelt affection and love from the staff I bet you never get anywhere else. The food is not just excellent, but more than that. Please do not miss the lunch and never the dinner... Leave aside the breakfast. It is much more worth than the cost. The Cottages are excellent. Facilities are nice. They give you a charger light in case you face power cut... Just like home. Do not miss the comment book at the Library. Kept from 1965 with drawings and comments by travellers. Just read Corbett's "My India" and the spirit you will find today at Khali Estate. And do not forget to purchase a copper water filter. You may get only if they have in stock.

Beautiful scenic view of Himalayas from each cottage window. Worth to stay hotel. Good hospitality and personal take care of each guest so feeling like a homely atmosphere. 140 years old property but it is very well maintained in terms cleanliness and ambience.

We have booked one night at khali estate on the basis of reviews. Although our stay was very short only for one day but the location, service, cleanliness, food everything was excellent. By staying there we thought we should stay at khali Estate minimum for Three days during trip. We love to stay there. We will plan in future wherever we will get time. Everything provided by them are not than they charged. Specially food what we have got there we have not get anywhere in our five day trip. We give more than 100% marks to Khali Estate.

Khali estate is a well located place with required facilities in Binary WLS. People were very nice and hospitality was excellent. They provided excellent food and guided well to see the nature. I refer others to stay in Khali estate if they visit Binsar. I stayed at Khali estate with my husband for 3 days. It was very good experience staying in Binsar away from the noise of city and normal crowded tourist places. We enjoyed the place where you get sunrise, Himalayan range, greenery and beautiful sunset.

Location of Khali Estate is just inside the bird sanctuary making it the best place to stay at Binsar with Scenic Views, Nature Walk, Helpful Staff, Rooms with Mountain Valley views, Awesome weather. Just awesome. Best stay!!

Beautiful place, amazing location. Perfect Holiday Stay. This 150 year old property takes you back to the British era - how they used to enjoy their leisure time. Perfect 10 points to the nice helpful staff specially the cook which makes the stay even more wonderful. The food is as good as the home cooked food. Yes, please be cautious, since it's a forest you will find insects (not mosquitoes) that might scare/ irritate you during evening/ night. But the beautiful voices of birds waking you up in the morning will make you forget the last night's insects horror!

Recently visited with family. The location, weather and services all are perfect. I would recommend everyone should try this once. This place is non commercialised, cool and calm. Words will be short to describe the beauty of this place. Excellent staff with good and homely quality food.

This was really a nice experience in deep forest and mountain top. The facilities and hospitality of Khali Estate personals are awesome. We will really remember this for many months. It was excellent stay for two nights with family in Khali Estate in 1st week of Oct 2014. I would like to go there again in my life to enjoy the smell of deep forest in future. I must recommend others also to experience the hospitality of Khali Estate, Binsar.

Best part is location which is very appealing,very nice food,very nice hospitality,staff members are so good.Nice service,overall its a very good resort to stay,good and clean rooms.

Wonderful location, exceptional service and Homely food and beautiful overall experience, rooms need spruce-up, particularly Bed mattresses and bathrooms.

We had a great stay here. Amazing property, amazing set up, great staff and food. The moment we arrived here, we knew we will have a good time, which we had! Few concern and suggestions, the water sometimes was not clean enough to drink. We got it changed lot of times. Other thing, there should be an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lastly, some insecticide should be available, as there were so many spiders all over tin the room.

The most interesting part was prim rose flowers which you can see blossoming during sunset.

This hotel is historical place situated 20 km above alomara and 8 km below zero point. Owner ghanshyam das pandey and staff is very cooperative - they make you fill like you are at home, food is very excellent. Will visit this place again and will recommend to others too.
