Toilet found dirty when checked in, room milk powder expiry date, very minimal options in buffet breakfast added with room, no basic breakfast items corn flakes /museli etc. For children, electric kettle not working, food quality not up to the mark, highly charged price whereas market value based on experience and services appears approx. Half of it. Not recommended, not suitable for vegetarian families with children. Not value of money.

Cleanliness is something we take very seriously, and had we been informed earlier, we would have promptly addressed any concerns. That said, we are reinforcing our checks to ensure every detail meets expectations. The milk powder you mentioned was just past its expiry a day earlier, and we’ve since implemented even stricter monitoring. Our shift from a buffet to freshly prepared breakfast items is aimed at maintaining quality and reducing waste. While we understand personal preferences, certain items like muesli and cornflakes get soggy in the island’s humidity, which is why they aren’t part of our regular offering. The electric kettle was fully functional, with the issue stemming from the wall switch, which was fixed as soon as we were made aware. We take great care to ensure our pricing aligns with the quality of our offerings, with all room details clearly outlined on booking platforms. While we understand that expectations can differ, we feel this rating doesn’t reflect the experience we strive to create for our guests. coupleRooms are constructed uniquely; however, the property is still in construction phase and haven't built the swimming pool. Food is pretty bad, oily and taste is un-understandable. Hotel staff is very rude and arrogant. They all want to justify the bad performance. They close by 9 pm. We found zero water in the morning as we had to go for our dive course. Upon returning "it had become our fault". Rooms are not very comfortable. Constant sound of the eerie shed making noises from the wind the whole night. Very small Rooms as well. Would not pay more than 6k/night for this.

coupleIt was a great experience to stay at matsya. The rooms are uniquely detailed. The breakfast was awesome. Lunch was a bit disappointing but it might be cu z of our palate or the selection of items we ordered so won't really complain. Overall a very satisfactory experience. Loved the thoughtful welcome note. Cafe had lots of indoor games, we played chess, u no and xno's.

Even though everything went well and starting from pick up from the jetty to drop they have taken good care but it is not the way it is being projected. Not for family with kids on board.
