I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The room was old and not cleaned properly. No room service or room keeper was available. There was no turkey as mentioned. The owner's behavior was also very. Not recommended at all.

Anticipating a tranquil and comfortable retreat in the lap of nature, i was met with a reality that fell far short of the advertised promises. The accommodations provided at mahindra’s homestay failed to live up to the charming imagery portrayed. The room, although promising in photographs, lacked in cleanliness and maintenance. The worn-out carpets and tired linens were a far cry from the picturesque representations that initially lured me to book a stay at this homestay. What compounded my disappointment was the lackluster customer service. The staff appeared indifferent and unresponsive to guest needs. When i encountered an issue in the room and sought assistance, it took an unreasonable amount of time for the staff to address it, and even then, the resolution was far from satisfactory. This lack of attentiveness greatly detracted from the overall additionally, promised services like room service or additional amenities were either unavailable or did not meet expectations. In summary, my stay at mahindra’s homestay in vadakara, kerala, was far from fulfilling. The stark disparity between the captivating promises made by the homestay’s marketing and the actual experience was disheartening. Regrettably, i cannot recommend this establishment to others seeking a rejuvenating stay in this beautiful region. For improvement, mahindra’s homestay should prioritize enhancing room cleanliness and maintenance, training their staff to be more responsive, and elevating the overall quality of their services

The first room they have was full of some bed bugs and insects. We asked for an ac room and they gave it for additional 700, which was ok, but the room and bed was pretty small for 3 people. There was no one at reception when we reached, we had to make some calls and wait for someone to come.

I found ma-hi mid-as to be a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay in vadakara. The host was very polite and helpful and friendly and always available on the phone. The building is beautiful and calm although it is in the middle of the town. Do not expect room service as this is not a hotel. It works more like an airbnb-perfect for travelers who want to bunk for the night and take care of themselves, but in case you need something, the host is available. As a solo woman traveler, i strongly recommend this place to others like me!

Pros: close to vadakara railway station easily accessible good for transit stay or a stop over cons: people at property is not friendly very tough to reach them over phone calls, not answering to calls on time. I had tough time connecting with them to update my chekin hours very average room no bedsheets given even to cover self during rainy nights. Water tooth paste given based on request with cost no parking space no food option overall unpleasant experience
