MADOL is a pathetic property, not at fit for family stay

No basic amenities, broken sink in toilet, malfunctioning geyser, zero cleanliness, no housekeeping or staff, bad food, spider webs hanging from walls, room has a single low watt bulb. Located amidst wilderness, with mikes blaring out 24 hours. MADOL do not serve tea, they do not even have a spoon or sugar, neither is there anyone who is present to listen to your requirements/problems. This should not be even featured in MMT!

I am extremely sorry for your feelings but I cannot understand when you have seen the bed sheets are not clean why don't you tell me at that time as I personally was present there. You have mentioned that the sink is broken but to my surprise, I found it perfectly alright and even the Gysier is perfectly working. I don't understand why u r saying this may be the location u did not like I can understand. But have you tried for doctors on call or massage therapy. To my information, you have not so how can u hypothetically assume about it is unavailable. Secondly, after your entrance I told u while giving the key of the property (including the key of the gates) that now this is your property. Even I also told you that this is not a hotel rather a farm stay so you may have to do certain things by yourself. Caretaker was always available during evening to the morning. Of course, I admit that during evening for 45 minutes he had to go outside, otherwise he was available. My care taker is a local one who is actually tribal maybe he may not understand certain things which you want to but I was available personally and even on phone. But you didn't told me. I am also very sad to know the taste of the food u didn't like. We will obviously try to improve it. But regarding your billing you have orderd me about your food but you have not inform me about your cancellation. Suddenly in the morning when I have prepared the bills u informed me about that. And accordingly, I also deducted the amount which you wanted, so I couldn't understand the point of urs. Above all I again through you I want to mention that MADOL is not a hotel it is farm stay in the lap of nature and in offbeat location so pls. If you life offbeat and village rustic life you are always welcome to visit and enjoy MADOl.

Very much Eco stay

It's 4-6 KM from Shantiniketan but it's a true eco stay. we had our own car, so that wasn't an issue. We went as a couple, the welcome, behavior from owner and our stay for one day was really memorable. Thank you for having us.

Lovely Stay

familyThis is my second Stay in this place. The food quality and taste was better in my previous Stay. Otherwise with Ridhiman (the owner) Around all deficiencies can be neglected.

2 nights stay at MADOL eco stay

familyLoved the stay amidst serenity, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The mud hut was artistically done and decorated. The washroom was modern which is an absolute necessity. So, thumbs up for it. The food was great. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you Riddhiman for the warm hospitality.

A 24 hours stay which made us meet a friend. If you are looking for good food, good host and good ambience, you can find everything here. With Mr Ridhiman and his team of caretakers, this is a place you can enjoy a Weekend.
The greatest comfort was the owner Mr Ridhiman. He will make you feel just awesome and any flaws in the accommodation will automatically get camouflaged. I'll go again for Mr Ridhiman and the fabulous food and the rustic village life you can relish in the location.

Having stayed in many high class 5 star resorts, I was a bit apprehensive initially but the homely atmosphere and always helpful attitude of the staff made sure we had a comfortable and memorable stay.
Very good ambiance excellent stay to experience the soul of rural bolpur .
