The place is very near to the lake, nicely built but can't say it as a resort. Good parking. Fantastic food. Gyser does not heat the water properly. Costly compared to facilities for booking.

Room is big size and very clean. Breakfast is very very tasty and many verities. Good location and near Lake. Walking distance for boating and shopping. All property is good looking and clean. But gym is not good. Swimming pool is medium. But very clean and beautiful. Room service is good. All over good stay in hotel

Hotel staff is co-operative. Cleanliness is maintained. Only one suggestion is hotel should provide transportation services to guests for emergency condition.

I have been visiting Saputara practically every monsoon since the past 5 years and have tried almost all the major hotels there. Sunotel is the best option I have come across. We took 2 Dang club rooms. The rooms were very big and had modern decor. The bathroom was also a good size with good quality fixtures and fittings, a large shower head with good water pressure and unlimited hot water. The entire hotel was very clean and spacious. Good food dinner and breakfast were both buffets and food was fresh with ample of variety. The entire hotel staff was very attentive and polite. The chef or the restaurant manager was extra attentive to make sure my parents were happy with the food. The hotel approach was also really wide and clean and well designed. The location right on the Lake without being crowded. This hotel is far superior to any of the big hotels I have stayed in Saputara and I really hope they continue to maintain their standard year after year.

I was on 3 days trip at Saputara with group of friends. Aakar was the 1st choice after viewing the reviews, photos, rates, ambiance and location of many hotels. Our stay was great considering the quantity of rooms, ambiance of hotel, food and room service available at hotel. We had only breakfast included in our stay but there was 10-15 different food items available in breakfast only. Food was tasty and restaurant service was nice experience. Indoor games room need AC as it becomes hot during afternoon hours. Rooms and washroom were clean and spacious. Overall nice experience can recommend to anyone.

Excellent rooms and good service

Stayed for 3 nights. It was surprising to find such delicious buffet dinner and breakfast as in my experience food in most restaurants outside main cities is just ok. (Good job chef) But only vegetarian food is available which understandable in Gujarat. Staff was helpful and attended to guests diligently even on very busy weekend. We had some trouble with the card key a few times which was looked after quickly. Overall satisfactory stay. Recommended.
