KTDC Tamarind Nilambur

I have stayed at several KTDC resorts before and always had a good experience. But my recent stay at KTDC Nilambur was very disappointing. The service and maintenance were below expectations, and it did not match the quality that KTDC usually provides. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the facilities and service standards at this property.

We enjoyed the stay at KTDC Tamarind. Room was clean and with proper amenities. Ambience is calm and serene with the beauty of nature. I asked for early breakfast but the staff told me it was not possible.

It was a peaceful and good stayy. Enjoyed a lot. Also it was nearby all tousirt places

Room is well maintained, conduct of staff is of excellent nature

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while my overall experience was decent, it didn’t start off great. Upon check-in, i was given a room with a faulty air conditioner, which made the room uncomfortably warm. After bringing it to the staff's attention, they did quickly accommodate me by moving me to a different room with a working ac. The second room was much better, and i appreciate the staff's responsiveness, but having to deal with the inconvenience in the first place was a bit frustrating. Location of hotel, food and behavior of staff are great.

I got ktdc hotel via make my trip and it's good to stay with family, also felt safe to stay. Appreciate

Very neat and clean place to stay together with a professional and supportive staff !

Toilet amenities were too bad. The toilet doors, closet, flush, hand shower etc were in very poor condition. After all it's government property that is not expected! the property is not too worth the price!

Water heating system was not working, even after complaining it could not be rectified, however conduct of staff was exemplary

Nice location. Comfortable rooms. Polite staff. The restaurant does not have a menu. Minimum choice. Food is just ok.

Good for a budget stay. Stay behavior was good and room was clean. Also free breakfast provided was of good taste

The property location is good, food is excellent, behaviour of the staff are excellent. The only problem is that the property needs a fresh coat of paint, new linens, outside sound proof rooms and make new changes in keeping with the current trends. Being a government owned property it takes time.

Good food, courteous pleasant helpful staff, average accommodation with basic amenities, excellent location.

Good atmosphere and good ambiance, natural atmosphere with neet ant clean rooms with affordable price

It is a budget property and do not expect luxury. It is on the nilambur ooty road but about 6 km away from nilambur town. The amenities do not include a bar. This is a wrong information in mm t description which is to be corrected. Breakfast is limited to either two poori or one plate of idlies and one cup of tea or coffee. Any thing more or any thing else will be charged and it is much higher than that for similar items in the area. They kept a used water bottle in the room but they changed it promptly when asked for a new bottle. They keep toiletries for only one person in a double room and even a single towel. Altogother i feel the present ratings of this hotel is a bit exaggeration.

The staff are very courteous, friendly and create an excellent environment for the guest. The place requires immediate maintenance activities as it would put one off with bathroom doors coming off their hinges, linen with stains, etc. The only saving grace of this place is the sincere staff and their smiles. They lighten up your day. The place requires immediate attention to maintenance and looks. Times are changing and ktdc needs to keep up with the times.

Room was really good and spacious. The one thing noted is the condition of bathroom which requires more maintenance. The door and windows of bathroom is not maintained well. Otherwise the stay was good and it's hardly few metres from nilambur teak musium

Good location. Close to many places of visit. Tasty food. Property needs face-lift interms of appearance and cleanliness.

Bad amenities, insects and bugs are present in tons. Not a good place to live or enjoy vacations. Pest control not good. Only incase of emergency please book it. Staff is good and helpful and help you with what ever they can. Food not good snd service is too slow.
