Jog Falls Aloka Homestay

Not up to the mark. I paid for AC but it was not working. I think I paid too much for the given room. It was not informed also that the ac is not working.

food was really good and locations also good. place is not very neat and clean

stay was very good as care taker was very polite and the rooms are very neat & clean

The homestay was maintained very poorly. Hair in the bathroom. Bedbugs on the bed and moldy pillows. Would not recommend. Had to cut short on our stay and move elsewhere as it was just an awful experience. The host was micromanaging to say the least. Controlling ac, the power to the room. Had to bathe without any hot water.

I stayed there for one day, its about 2 kms from the jog falls. This is a home stay above the house of the owner. The room is clean. There is parking for few cars in front of the property. There are very little options to stay near jog falls until l the government completes the construction of the new facilities. This is a decent place to stay for one night. I do think its bit on the expensive side. I had to pay 400 extra for the ac to be turned on. Since i went during holidays, i was not offered any meal options. I had to try to find other restaurents near the area, which is also less.

Average homestay close to jog falls. With no restaurants nearby, you will have to depend on the food provided by the homestay. The food was average.

The stay was comfortable to a certain extent. The staff was cordial, gentle and obliging. However, the cleanliness was not up to the mark. This was brought to their notice and they took immediate action, which was commendable.

this is opposite to Lake. front ambience looks is gives you congested vibes but rooms is maintained very well like three star hotel rooms.

The rooms were very clean and the owner was really kind. He made sure we are comfortable and not having any issues. Very hygienic.

An average home stay, host is very friendly, will provide good information of area's of interest around jog falls. Rooms & bathroom were clean. Wish the rooms were slightly more ventilated, but that's ok. Food service was not up to the mark, probably because the number of visitors were too many during our visit. Overall an decent stay, if you do not get any other option. Location is very good though.
