The outdoor pictures are actually of place where king stays and guests are not allowed to go there. The rooms are in outer area of main palace. The standard AC room we booked was very different than what was there in photo. Food is bit expensive. There are no professional staff. There were only 2 care takers. Otherwise ambience and surrounding are good. The place is really in natural area. But don't expect any modern amenities like TV, tea maker room.

Our stay in jambughoda palace was great, it's truly a home of nature lovers. The rooms were clean and tidy and had basic amenities. The property has nearby fields and plantations, perfect a morning walk. The food was tasty, though bit costly but worth it. Stayed overnight with my family at the homestay. It was thrilling and exciting to spend a night amid the serene silence and beauty of jambughoda forest. Hospitality was great, and the chance to interact with his highness maharana vikramsinh ji and learning about the past of the palace and the royal family from him was among the most cherished experiences. Would love to visit again.

Jambughoda palace-a home for nature lovers is an ideal getaway from vadodara’s hustle bustle. For that matter, there were groups there from surat and ahmedabad too. This place is actually a home stay hosted by the royals who own the over 5-6 acres of land on which stands the property. It is an amazing and naturally beautiful setting. The food was on point and served with loving hospitality. It is not a hotel kind of setting. It offers soul rejuvenation.
