Terrible Stay

Property is very good, but there are no staff to maintain it. Usually reception is empty. No body lifts call the kitchen opens at 10 am for breakfast, it's highly impossible for the guests to get out early for work, then if a guest arrives late they say the kitchen is closed at 9 pm,

Excellent Stay

Beautiful hotel at the bank of periyar river. They provide excellent services, food is of good quality and delicious. Staffs are also friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay there. Will visit again and recommend to others also.

Ok room to night stay

I had booked a deluxe room and the room was pretty big and a balcony with river view. To improve: 1. Except room entry door, all other. Door locks were not wotking. 2. Room had a smell, which can be overcome using some freshners. 3. Washroom laterine tap had leak, which was fixed asap which is very appreciated. 4. Washroom shower tap also was damaged. 5. Towels provided were very hard which will damage the skin. 6. Room service was also very slow and delayed. All together its a cheap place for stay. Not recommended if expecting great service. Good for a sleep and refreshment. Has a bar, so can chill the evenings. Staff services are very good and kind. Boat service is mentioned in the list and in the hotel advertisements but not available for small groups like a family.

familyPlease follow the map directions shared by MMT or you will reach else where. The hotel was clean and has a bar however they do not seem to have many guests coming in. Hence you may find a deserted reception and an empty restaurant. The receptionist was helpful and is the only person who can speak Hindi and English well. It is close to the bird sanctuary and a descent place to stay.

First of all the map given in the makemy trip app was not accurate. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was not clean enough but the food was OK. The location was good because its very near to the thattekkad bird sanctuary. Overall experience was average.
