Hotel Ramghat Inn

Worst ever hotel. Bad food, dirty-unclean rooms and toilets with broken dusty and rusty fittings. insects on the floor. dirty tea cups and cattle. completely unhygienic. Don't fall for the location. Its a trap bcz despite of booking 2 river view rooms the manager said he can only offer one as he has to take care of another booking as well. after a 20 min argument we got the rooms but to our dis-satisfaction the river view wasn't a balcony view but a glass enclosure that lets you see outside but prevents ventilation which makes it further unhygienic as the only way to ventilated the room is with the washroom door open and exhaust fan running all night. And after this they asked for a tip and even forced us to pay a separate charge for luggage offloading which was just 2 bags.

The worst hotel ever. Unclean room, Dirty and rusty toilet fittings bad food, insects on floor. just the one thing that keeps the hotel running is the location next to Ram Ghat.

Hotel was at good location and staff was supportive.

USP for the hotel was it's location, right in front of Ramghat so we don't need to depend on any conveyance as such

Nice Location in Chitrakoot. From our rooms we could view the river and Ganga Arti. The staff of the hotel are full supportive.

I stayed in this hotel Ramghat inn from 16 to 18 May, 2025. I liked the hotel. It's very neat and clean and priced reasonably. AC, geyser, lights, taps all।are working perfectly. Light goes intermittantly which is out of their control as this is the state govt. responsibility. They have inverter for running fan and essential lights. Above all the staff is very cooperative and solves problem if any. The behaviour of shri Awasthi ji and young chap Mishraji is excellent as they provided help in transportation and essential items required by customer from the market. I wished if I could stey there for more days as the location is excellent on bank of Mandakini and evening Aarti can be viewed from hotel balcony. I am very thankful to Awasthi ji and Mishra ji.

The hotel manager was the nicest person in the entire city. He took care of my family like his own, and was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location and the rooms were clean.

Bedsheets and pillow covers were not clean at all. The washroom jet spray is not working properly. Electricity was a big problem during my stay as we have to spend around 2-3 hours without AC that too at night while sleeping. Location was good but although staff can work better and show some more professionalism.

No parking provided, no lift , no telephones contact with reception/ restaurant, room service pathetic, photographs of room are also misleading,

This property is situated at ramghat, the centre place for evening aarti, bharat mandir, the food was very good, roti of pure wheat, hospitality excellent. Overall best hotel in place.

they mentioned wrong things. they didn't provide any toiletries even their ac not working no water bottle. bed sheet was dirty after taking extra charge even they didn't have tv in their room.

The location is absollutly prime with River View. You can also watch the Mandakini aarti and light ans sound show feom the hotel it self. Sharing a few images from the hotel's restro itself.

rooms were very tiny and messy. bathroom were not cleaned properly. staff was bad even for three people we have to beg for towel as they are telling for one room only two towel will be provided even though we have booked for three. water bottle not provided. water provided from RO which is located besides common washroom for hotel staff and by people who visited ram ghat and don't know how many times hands were washed on those taps

it's a riverside property, on Mandakini river banks..though stay was average, staff was very helpful. Recommended when in Chitrakoot.

review of ramghat inn - a disappointing experience **overall rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)** booking and check-in experience my experience at ramghat inn began with significant frustration at check-in. despite having a confirmed booking , the hotel staff initially claimed they were fully booked and tried to turn us away. only after showing multiple confirmations and engaging in lengthy discussions did they acknowledge our reservation. we were then made to wait for an inexcusable 2.5 hours before being assigned a room. room issues the room we received was not what we had paid for. despite specifically booking and paying for an ac room, we were given a non-ac room with no explanation or compensation offered. the room size was remarkably small, making it difficult to move around or store luggage comfortably. basic amenities were lacking, and the overall room quality was well below acceptable standards. cleanliness and maintenance the cleanliness standards were alarmingly poor: * visible dust and dirt on surfaces * unkempt bathroom facilities * stained linens * general lack of regular maintenance * unpleasant odors in the room location - the only positive the sole redeeming quality of ramghat inn is its location. the hotel's proximity to key attractions and convenience for local transportation cannot be denied. however, this single advantage is thoroughly overshadowed by the numerous issues we encountered. service quality the staff's handling of our booking situation was unprofessional and showed a clear lack of customer service training. the initial denial of our confirmed booking and the extended wait time demonstrated poor management and organizational skills. value for money given the significant discrepancy between what was promised (ac room) and what was provided (non-ac room), combined with the cleanliness issues and poor service, this hotel offers extremely poor value for money. conclusion i strongly advise potential guests to consider alternative accommodations. the only positive aspect - location - is not worth enduring the multiple issues this property presents. the combination of booking problems, room discrepancies, poor cleanliness, and substandard service makes this hotel an establishment to avoid.. i have not taken any photos, however you can visit room no 208 and look yourself.
