Don't stay there.. it's a far away from sonmarg market. Every time you go for market driver will charge 700-1000 rupees. During my stay they didn't provide me towel, soap and shampoo. Even they haven't purified water facility. They will give you minarel water bottle and charge you 50 rupees. They haven't a mirror in their room. Simply a over priced hotel. So called owner and their boys are always waiting for tips.

Hello sir Thank you so muchfor ur rating! reason behind that ur booking was confirmed by u and the location which shows u where our hotel is situated but for ur kind information sonamarg is 40 kilometres in round figure n it ends on zero point drass. my hotel is situated at NH1 before sonamarg market it takes 10 minutes to go market but this location on Google searching gets best position in sonamarg with land scapes, breeze and fresh forests n of course situated on River sindh. this locations attracts Bollywood heros etc recently Shahrukh Khan n tapsee panus shooting was filmed here. so this is my reply on sight. further no one ask u for tips sir it is very unfortunate to u that u blaming my boys. Thank you so much sir

Bad service, we have call everything tovel, water, most of time lights are goan, not good hotel. If you are keeping begs for sometime after checkout you should tell them your how many hours, others wise they will charged 500 for hourly base, very bad behaviour, bas lotane baite hey,

Thank you so much for your feedback we just explain ur concerns, That temperature was -22 here at sonamarg,the pipe line was totally destroyed by low temperature n by heavy snow but still we manage to bring hot water to our valuable guests manually through bucket which our worthy guest acknowledge in his review. n rest bed heating was available 24×7 through out night but room gas heating must be switched off for ur safety reasons. On guest reviews this hotel holds 2nd position in the area. Moreover this hotel is recognized by Jk tourism department. We are trying our best to provide our best to our guests. But our hotel policy didn't allow guests to demand illegal things. Regards.

My experience was average. It is okay to stay not luxurious but yes comfortable stay. I found the bathroom was unclean but they immediately sent his staff and clean the bathroom immediately after complaining. I especially mention that staff are very nice and polite and it is absolutely safe for female Solo traveler.

Amazing view from the hotel and amazing services. Friendly people and delicious food. If you need any ride or go for activities, I recommend to speak to the manager or owner and they will get concession in the price which you won't get outside. Had best experience at this hotel in J and K. Recommended everyone to try hotel Neelgagan.

Pretty Decent For The Money

Our visit was a short one, Only of one day exactly, but what we experienced was pretty great. The hotel is easily recognizable from the highway, it's near to a fast flowing river coming from Sonamarg Hills, which is a sight and sound to behold. The staff and the management is pretty nice. You will get decent food here, along with a nice Kahwa, which was available at morning 4'o Clock also, and it was very nice. There's a slight bit of network reception issue out there,as in most of the area.
