Harish Beach Resort

I recently stayed at Harish Beach Resort, and apart from its name, there’s nothing about this place that qualifies it as a resort. The experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Location & Accessibility: The property is located far from the temple and main town area. To get anywhere, you need to walk nearly 1 km just to find an auto rickshaw, as there’s no pickup or drop facility from the hotel. When I requested the staff to help call an auto, they did so only through a specific driver who clearly overcharged with their commission added. I ended up paying ₹300 for a 3.5 km ride to the railway station — nearly ₹100 per kilometre! If you try finding another driver, they’ll refuse, as the rickshaw operators in the area seem to work like a mafia group. Staff & Management: When I informed the hotel manager about this issue, they were completely indifferent and offered no help or alternative arrangement for transportation. Facilities & Services: Despite being called a resort, there is no in-house restaurant. You’ll again have to depend on the same overpriced autos to go to the market for food. I had paid for breakfast in advance, but it was delayed till 9:30 AM after multiple follow-ups, and a staff member eventually brought it from a nearby roadside shop. The property itself appears to be an old fishery office converted into rooms — not a genuine resort setup. Cleanliness: The so-called “beachfront” area is dirty and unpleasant, with dog waste scattered around. It’s impossible to sit or relax there. Overall Experience: This is nothing more than a cheap lodge disguised as a resort, charging exorbitant rates for substandard service. You can easily find far better hotels nearby at half the price, with proper cleanliness, food, and hospitality. I had the worst experience here and truly regret choosing this hotel for my stay. Avoid this place at all costs.

Staff behaviour was not welcoming Like when we said bathroom is not cleaned they said it is clean

The location is very good the staff was very helpful and polite. The facilities were good, the rooms were clean, washroom was also decent. I forgot one of my belongings at their hotel they helped me a lot with courier services. Had a great time staying at this resort

Staff was very friendly however the stay wasn’t good at all. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. The property wasn’t clean at all. Bathroom fittings were broken.

Resort is good, rooms are clean and spacious. Service is great and staff is polite. Location is somewhat far from auto stand but hotel staff gets you auto so not a problem. Restaurant is not there and food options are very limited. Overall good for families in this mid budget range.

Resort is close to the beach but is no way a resort as it has just a building. The beach across the road of the property is quite dirty and stinks. There is no restraunt in the property you have to go to another branch of the same property which is a good 3-4 kms away, this restraunt is also extremely basic. Not at all worth the price.

Well, we booked this stay imagining it was a grand beach resort. It's just a sea facing bungalow with absolutely no amenities, no games, no pool nothing. They have no kitchen, you need to order food from outside. However room is big and clean and can sleep 5 people easily

Very bad service provided. No house keeping done daily. Water provided only on asking. Booking was done with breakfast but the brealfast was available in the restaurant owned by the hotel 1. 2km away from the hotel. So no breakfast provided. Very bad service. Will not suggest anyone this hotel for future

Brindavan resort very good resort. All sea facing rooms. With balcony. The resort has no inhouse restaurant. But they provide complimentary breakfast in their own restaurant brindavan residency nearby. Resort had ample car parking area. Room had one living room, bed room and sitout. One drawback is small bathroom and bad smell emerging ou from that

Everything was average. For breakfast we have to go to a different property of their's thats located 200 mtrs away.
