Hotel Grand Surya

1. Lift Not Working: The elevator has not been operational for the past two days, causing inconvenience, especially during up & down with luggage. 2. Towel Service: We had to request towels every day of our four-day stay, indicating a lack of consistency in basic housekeeping services. 3. Intercom Not Working: The intercom was non-functional last night, which made it difficult to contact the reception or housekeeping for assistance to put AC on and give towels. 4. Air Conditioning: The AC was not turned on when we entered the room last night. Due to the intercom issue, we couldn't report it immediately and had to inform the staff in person during dinner. 5. Frequent Power Cuts: There were frequent power shutdowns, and no automatic changeover was in place. We had to wait each time for the power to be manually restored. 6. Lack of Mouth Fresheners: No mouth fresheners were provided after dinner, which is generally expected as part of the dining experience. 7. Apart form these issues Staff at hotel is excellent, cooperative and humble.

Hotel was very dirty. Food for horrible phone's were not working. Had to shout for everything from second floor will never ever stay in this hotel again

There are no any services. >the room lock was not working. >electric kattle was not there. >wash besin not working >tv remote was not there. >toilet flush was not working. >water supply was not coming from morning.

The room was good, spacious and comfortable. Food excellent. But only issue was that the reception needed to be informed always when i needed the ac and geyser after i came back to my room, as this was centrally put on and off. The ac also had controls inside the room but the main switch would be off.

Nice staff and i had a pleasant stay.

The stay in Surya Grand had mixed feelings. It was rated as 3 star in MMT but seems that in no way it deserved this. The rooms are ok and they offered bath towels and shampoo. However there was no provision for dental kit, shaving kit, hair dryer etc. in the room. Drinking water was charged, despite the high room rate as compared to all other hotels in the locality. It was expected to have a restaurant in house and good breakfast, but again this turned out to be false. There is no in-house restaurant. They did say there is another building which is named as Surya Hotel, where they had in house restaurant. As far as breakfast is concerned, there was not much to offer. Only parathas were available. This was very disappointing. No fruits, juice, milk, cereals offered. Further the room did not have intercom and you have to go to the reception to ask or tell any thing to them. They did provide a number to call from my own mobile, but many times there was no response on this number. The geyser was not functional many times as there was some switch outside which was kept off by the staff. Despite requesting them not to switch the geyser off, we found it off on most of the occasions when we needed it. Overall the stay was not as expected from a standard 3 star hotel.

Terrible room, damp, smelly, patchy. Geyser was not in a working condition towel was dirty, AC was making noise. Less variety of food, quality was average. And for such under average room the price was extreme.
