During my stay, I found the room to be poorly maintained. The cleanliness was not up to the mark, and there was a persistent dust smell throughout the space, which made it quite uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the utility duct was left open, allowing dust to enter the room continuously, further affecting the air quality. Despite raising these concerns, the staff was uncooperative and did not take any effective steps to resolve the issues. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and fell far short of expectations.

I was looking for a property next to the famous Brihadeeswarar temple with good parking space. HOTEL GNANAM was a great choice. situated in the heart of Thanjavur, with a decent in house restaurant. Now about the Hotel and Room experience. I was travelling with my family (Wife & 2 Kids, 1 daughter & 1 son). Rooms were spacious, Bathroom was neat & clean. Well Air conditioned. Courteous and friendly staff right from reception to room service. Booked 1 room with extra cot. Had a very comfortable stay!!! I would recommend this property on any given day. If the Brihadeeswara Temple is your main destination, and if you are travelling by train, then this hotel is a good choice. it's midway between the railway station and temple, 15 min walk either side. The food is good, rooms are clean, competent staff. Was a hassle-free experience.
