Good place to stay in Tawang.

Room is maintenance is just OK, loaction is good, facilities are good keeping in view the other hotels in the town.

Gakyi Khang Zhang is one of the better hotels in Tawang. But having said that, there is a big scope of improvement. The rooms can be better arranged to begin with. I keep sending people there often. There has never been any complaint as such regarding the stay there but people have not been very happy about the stay too.

Good hotel. Problem of electricity, location is good and behavior of hotel staff were okay. Rates are okay. They do not have the lift, you have to go down. So for old age it is very difficult to go down and climbs. Timing of food service is also a problem, but overall it is a good experience.

GKZ is a nice hotel. The rooms were good, general hygiene was good however surroundings like corridors and staircases need upkeep. Definitely needs an elevator... to walk up and down 4 floors is rather taxing! The food was nothing great and the menu was limited. The most sought after momos were not available during the whole stay of 2 days. But the most phenomenal part of the stay was the service. The staff members went out of their way to make everything possible and never said no. However the front office staff looked stressed out and they could do with a little more hospitality and definitely welcome the guests with a smile rather than a frown!
