Hotel RC Regency

Please don’t book Hotel RC Regency, Amritsar – very bad experience I went there for 2 days office trip and it was a total mess. Staff, manager and the lady owner are very rude and unprofessional. They were switching off AC and electricity from their end even after I told them not to. No basic amenities were there – no geyser, no kettle, no toiletries, no proper service. They charged me for everything – soap, complimentary tea, even ironing one shirt which they said was free. At checkout they asked for extra money for water bottle also. They even told me if I want proper amenities, I should pay ₹10,000 per day! No Wi-Fi also, and gave a weird reason saying it’s near Pakistan border – while other hotels in Amritsar have Wi-Fi. Biggest issue – I noticed CCTV camera inside the room, which is a serious privacy problem. When I asked, they denied and behaved very badly. I paid ₹90 online and ₹500 cash, still they wanted more. Totally greedy and unprofessional people. Please avoid this hotel.

Excellent stay at r c regency. Good hotel and best host

Hotel is not good if you are planning to stay with old aged people. There is no lift in the hotel. So it will be very difficult for senior citizens to reach hotel.

The services of the hotel were very bad, tv not working, no bathroom accessories, ac no remote, all the electric appliances they have the control from their office, ac was switched off at midnight suddenly to save extra cost, make my trip just take the initiative to warn the customers never to opt for this hotel.

Good location and good cooperative services

1. There is no lift, to reach room given on 3rd floor. Lift construction is going on so, floors are not cleaned. 2. Bedsheets were torn. Towels are sub-standard, foot mats were too dirty. 3. Food provided just normal, & rates are high. 4. Only 2 staff for house keeping, service etc & untrained. Only one plus point. Owners are very decent, & soft spoken, coparative & listening problems. But they don't have proper items to replace the above stated items. People should avoid to book this hotel till six months i. E. Till lift start working. & problems rectified. Owners please take necessary action for correction. Owners you people are so good. But people come to your hotel wanted value for their money.

Me with my family stayed for two days. Food and stay was average. The worst thing i felt was the staff kept on switch off ing the mains to the ac. I had paid the amount for a. C room and had to go each time to the reception to tell the guy to switch on the mains.

Hotel was near the bus stand It was clean Service was good

Value for money. The staff is nice and friendly. Not much variety for breakfast. It's ok even if you don't opt for complimentary breakfast.

Hotel room is fine but if you're going ask room service after mid night or in early morning it's not going to happen. All and all hotel was fine for stay.

Nice and pleasant stay owner behaviour is good

Hotel is good for family, and service is really appreciable as Hotel owner itself pay personal attention to the guest. I would say personal thanks to Ms. Mandeep for everything.

Food prices are very expensive, small rooms, not for family

I had a very comfortable stay. It's very close to Golden temple. The hotel staff are homely, nice and go out of the way to make you comfortable.

Overall it's was nice stay at this hotel. Location is good near railway station with parking space available if you let them know in advance of your arrival. However at the same time it's far from Darbar sahib and other main attractions of Amritsar for that best is to do a E-rickshaw for a quick ride to old city of Amritsar. Food was good and worth it's price you need to ask them to keep it less spicy if you need that, kitchen has no 24 hours menu please keep in mind however hotel does allow you to order food from outside once kitchen timings are over. Room was good and clean. Small bathroom but clean only issue was hot water that was not running all the time supply now in extreme winters. Best thing was owners of the hotel and rest of the staff were so friendly and accommodating that they win your heart.

Location was good everything was nearby food is pretty decent had breakfast only staff members are too helpful and soft-spoken.

It is my request to MMT team please don't give MMT assured tag to this kind of hotels. Dear friend it is my advice if you planned to book this hotel better is if you stay in Gurdwara Sahib.

The facility provided in hotel was nice and staff are so cool and helping nature. The owner's behavior is awesome. I love this hotel and recommend other people. The food quality is also good as compare to Dhaba.
