Right from the welcome to departures, it was more like going to your own home. Quality of food was excellent, starts from organic rice, home made ghee, fresh white butter to honey, the love with which they serve and explain each dish, you tend to eat more than needed. Excellent location and the peak view point was a great experience. Thank you.

Very friendly Uncle and Aunty who treat you like their own kids and feed you very yummy food. Excellent location, very close to Jog and the backwaters in the middle of the reserved forest. Only small problem is that the rooms are small.

The best place to stay for a family in and around jog falls. On a clear night, you can see billions of stars with zero light pollution. Hospitality and food are of different level.

Isolated. To depend on the owners for food. Not even a kettle or microwave available

Stay was very peaceful. The place is really awesome. Food was good. Pure vegetarian cuisine. Nothing new to offer.

We booked 3 rooms in Gundimane as we were 3 families touring Shimoga and Jog falls. Due to a confusion which arose from all 3 rooms being booked in the same name, Gundimane couldn't honour our booking. But the management was gracious enough to provide alternate accommodation in another resort which too was very good.

The place was good and the hosts were very cordial. It was my first experience in a home stay and honestly it was worth the visit. Local delicacy at the home stay was lip smacking. Stay was decent and the place is newly built 6 months back.

Food was good but there was no choice. Service is okay. I feel that rates are on little higher side. Professional approach was missing.

The Homestay is just a home away home. We stayed along with our 10 months baby ... They took at most care tat we are very comfortable there ... The best ever was Aunty's lip smacking food ... Especially the jackfruit fries and dosa ... Not to miss the pumpkin sweet ... It was just out of the world ... If you really want have peaceful personal time for family .. This is the place. Aunty and uncle made us feel as their own. Family member and treated us with loads of love ... Thank you aunty and uncle :)
