during my kashmir trip this was the best location and the price it offered was too good. the host was warm and friendly and always available on one call. hospitality is amazing. the caretaker prepared the food and it was available at a reasonable price. the food was too good.i think compared to the hotels I went to the food was quite amazing here. the view from the room was awesome.

Excellent stay. Location was awesome with stunning views of mountains and water fall. The room was clean and the food was awesome. The hospitality of Wasim bhai was very good. Only drawback is the connectivity. One small part of the road towards the property was muddy and not suitable to walk. But they provide car to go to the main road and to pick up from there. Room and the bathroom were very clean. Overall it was a nice stay and would recommend others who want to stay in between mountains to feel the nature.

Best stay in kashmir

This was the best property I stayed at in Kashmir. I was there for just one day, but I wish I had booked a longer stay. A big thanks to Mr. Waseem for his warm hospitality—he even arranged a bonfire at night. He personally prepared the food, which was absolutely delicious. The view from the property was breathtaking.

Very basic accomodation, but in a wonderful place. Wonderful ambience. Caretakers are so friendly and helpful and always available for any help. Food is super tasty and reasonable price compared to outside. The road to property is off-road, it will be tough for small vehicles. I was informed that the roads will be constructed soon in coming months. I will definitely recommend this property for any type of travellers as the host is a wonderful person.

Freedom of stay in the lap of mountains.

It’s a vintage property which is placed on the top of the hill. The hotel staffs are well behaved and polite. The location of the property is fantastic and surrounded by valleys. The sunrises are mesmerising so as the sunsets. Food are of best quality and homely cooked. Rooms looked like poor quality but it has the best of the feel for stay in a mountain. Toilets are clean and hygienic. I must visit with our son next time, because we still need a couple of days to explore the scenic views of the valleys.

The location was very beautiful and scenic as it is on a hill top. You can hike around the hill. Both waseem and mustaq were very friendly and kind. Food was very delicious and homely at a very low price. Only thing to keep in mind is that some off road drive needs to be done to reach the hotel.

familyThis is an excellent homestay at pahalgam with beautiful and like minded people to take care of the guests. The caterer ( waseem ji ) and his associate are always alerted to take care of the guests even at the coldest rough weather at pahalgam. They always had taken utmost care of the guests and prepared homely food at our choice. The homestay is situated at the lap of the snow filled mountains which can be viewed from inside the room and also from the small attached lawn with the homestay. The homestay is really amid-st the unpolluted atmosphere and surrounded by the himalayan mountains filled with snow and ice. The homestay is little uphill and the private vehicles are might not reach to the doorstep of the hotel. Waseem ji is very much helpful to the guests to handhold them to the homestay along with the luggage. I would like to say it’s a home away from home. I really recommend this homestay for mountain lovers for spending time and holidays with families.

Had a wonderful experience staying at freedom palace. The place has rustic and cozy vibes. Located on a hill and access is a bit difficult. Although our host waseem bhai was really helpful and he made sure to pick us up and drop us back. Kudos to his hospitality. Will recommend it.

Excellent service, location and stay. Delicious food was cooked for us at short notice. Though its little difficult to reach the exact location as it is high atop the hill/mountain and in woods, it's worth it. Amazing ambience, very good host and staff. Loved the stay with over all delighting experience.

This place is nothing less than perfection. From the location, the stay, the food and the hospital of the owners- waseem and mushtaq. While the room has basic facilities and is not a luxury stay, it is extremely cozy and comfortable. The washroom is extremely neat and hygienic. The breathtaking view and food par excellence is the highlight of our entire kashmir trip. Highly recommend this place

The owner and all the employees are very polite, they make sure they will give the best services. The view is awesome, sunrise, sunset and all. We had a bonfire as well.

A very warm welcome by host with amazing home meals. Just behind the homestay there’s a small waterfall. Spend the morning with soothing sound of the water and walk amid-st the woods. I would highly recommend this place.
