Comfortable and pleasant stay

We planned for 2 day trip to Somanathapura, Talakadu, and Shivanasamudra area. We were looking for a one night stay. Didn't get KSTDC accommodation in Bharachukki. Then I booked in AB house in Kollegala. It is a brand new, well maintained house in the outskirts of kollegala. We had a pleasant stay. Because of own vehicle, we didn't find any problem wrto distance from city. Owner Babu and his father are very cooperative.

Perfect luxurious home far away from home

Three of us stayed for a night as a pit stop on the way to Biligiri Ranganatha Hill from Bengaluru. Its on the way to Kollegal about 3km from the main town area. Its a gated area which is brightly-lit and safe. The house is quite new and very clean, with hot water and all working appliances including TV. It had sufficient plates, vessels, and water as well for our use. A pretty good restaurant is also available nearby. It has an excellent and large terrace as well. Only minor flaw is that some of the ventilation vents that allow mosquitoes in, but nothing that can't be fixed with a repellant. The owner was available and courteous, and was accommodating to our later-than-usual arrival time. After arriving, we felt like extending our stay for a day more but we didn't have the time.
