Patna Airport which is famous by the name of Jaiprakash Narayan Airport, is a major airport in the state of Bihar. It was built in 1973 and it runs various flights all over India. If we go by the statistics then it is the 22nd busiest airport in India. It runs both domestic and international flights. It comes under the direct authority of Airport Authority of India which controls its operations. Terminal 1 - Domestic: Terminal 1 runs domestic flights which contain major airlines like Jet airways, Air India and IndiGo. From here, you can have direct flights to 12 major cities of India. Terminal 2 - International & Domestic: Terminal 2 of Patna airport has international flight facility but it is now used for private jets and cargo airlines as for time being it is under refurbishment.
