Latur Airport History:
In the year 1991, Latur Airport was constructed by the Public Works Department (PWD) and in the year 2001, it was handed over to the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. The airport has undergone many construction changes which include the construction of a longer runway in the period between the year 2006-2008, new terminal building and car park was upgraded at a cost of almost Rs 140 million. Maharashtra State Industries Ministry started many process of modernization of the airport which was operated by MIDC in the year 2006. Later, the airport was leased to Reliance Airport Developers (RADPL) which is a part of the Reliance Group that commenced various project management, execution and functions of airport amongst other developmental changes. Currently the airport operates VIP and Corporate charter flights.
Latur Airport Terminals:
Terminal 1: Latur airport is a domestic airport which has total area of approximately 145 hectares (358.30 Acres). This airport is integrated with highly advanced technology features and well-structured with a runway, taxiway, apron and a well equipped terminal building. It has a cozy terminal building which is capable to handle almost 60 passengers during its peak hours. Recently, Kingfisher Airlines is plying three flights a week with ATR 72-500 aircraft from Latur to Mumbai and Nanded and vice versa.

All these features are provided by Reliance.
