Go Parasailing in Bangalore

I was never a lover of heights. If I went to the balcony on the 20^th floor, my legs would wobble and my head would act funny. So imagine, me signing up for a crazy parasailing trip in Bangalore with my friends. Yes! That’s what friends can do to you.

 

I suddenly found myself in the airfield. An experienced instructor took me through the safety guidelines and instructed me on the flying techniques. Though I was trying hard to absorb them, the flurry in my stomach was quite distracting.

Soon, they made me get into the parasail's harness and safely tethered me to the jeep. My heart was thumping. The jeep began to move and I could feel myself soar slowly into the sky. I closed my eyes tight. I was getting lifted away and my legs began to feel light. I knew I was at a great height. I could not believe I actually allowed my friends to talk me into this!!!

Regretting, I slowly opened my eyes, but what I saw then will remain with me for life. I was soaring high in the sky. Everything below looked like tiny specks. You often see this sight from the plane, but sailing there in the open sky all by yourself, you look at everything with an altogether different perspective. I felt liberated as if I had risen over every problem in life, every problem in the universe. I let that feeling sink. Soon, my three minutes was over and I was brought down. Where I was regretting a few minutes ago, now I was running toward my eagerly-waiting friends to thank them profusely for this out-of-the-world experience.

Parasailing is for everyone – beginners, experienced, children, adults – everyone. And fear of heights is just a mental block. Believe me! If I can do it, anybody can do it, including you.

Parasailing with Viking Aerosports

Reputed to have zero errors and no mishaps, Viking Aerosports has been conducting parasailing for beginners and experienced enthusiasts alike. The parasailing is done in a controlled environment and is supervised by intensively experienced ex-Indian Air Force officials and qualified aeronautical engineers.  

Cost per person:

• Rs 625 onwards (for a single person – maximum weight should be below 100 kg)
• Rs 1,100 (for two people – maximum weight of two people should be 125 kg)

Parasailing with Hanka Adventures

Hanka Adventures allows participants to have maximum fun, even while maintaining a professional approach and keeping in mind their safety. The instructors make the participants very comfortable, explaining them every single thing that would take place once they begin parasailing.
