Thai Airways is the national carrier of Thailand, which is also a founder member of the Star Alliance Network. Thai Airways operates some of the longest non stop commercial flights including flights from Bangkok to New York and Los Angeles. Thai Airways being upfront in its customer service has been awarded the title for "World's Best Cabin Staff" and "The Best Airlines of the Year 2006". Thai Airways was awarded the "Airline of the Year 2007" as well.

Thai airlines has got a wide fleet of latest aircrafts and the number ranges to a more than 90+. The fleet includes Airbus 300-600, A321-200, A330-200, A340-500, A340-600, A380-800, Boeing 737-400, 747-400, 777-200, 777-200ER, 777-300 and ATR 72-200. Thai Airlines have also leased up some of its aircrafts to NOK Air. Thai Airlines fleet will be added with another 6 latest Airbus A380 which will be used to serve the route to Frankfurt, Paris and London.
