As with the Singapore Shopping Festival and the Dubai Shopping Festival, the Korea Grand Sale is designed to produce happy shoppers, brimming from ear to ear after making the most of all those attractive offers, discounts and freebies on big brand names. The Korea Grand Sale, which started on January 11, will continue till February 28, giving you plenty of time to make your shopping lists, pack your bags and booking your flight to Seoul!

The Korea Grand Sale 101

First up you need to know the venue for this blissful event so that you can book your tickets and find a decent hotel to stay in. The shopping festival will take place in Seoul,  Busan and Jeju Island; all popular tourist destinations with good connectivity to Seoul. Keep a look out for good deals on train travel as this is a great way to get around during your trip to Korea.

Korea’s Grand Sale is in full swing as we speak and thousands of sale junkies are rifling through nearly 24,000 stores, trying to get their hands on all that loot. With special discounts (up to a whopping 70%) for foreigners, your passport will help cut down costs from entry fees and product prices. Big name labels, departmental stores and all major supermarkets are offering special discounts to those looking to stuff their bags.
