SURPRISE ME!
Taking a long haul? Worry not! Airbus’ brand new lie-flat business class seat is here to make your experience absolutely smooth with its couch-like comfort and entertainment galore!
Airbus has embarked on the path of creating ripples in the domain of business class travel with its brand new business seating called ‘settee corner’. The new lie-flat seat was inaugurated as a part of Airbus’ long-range A321LR jets, during the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. Developed by seat manufacturer Geven in collaboration with Airbus, the new design introduces the comfort you have always dreamt of!

Sleek and comfy, the cabin layout is designed in a fishbone-style boasting of 12 seats set in a 32” pitch. There will be two settees per row – one per passenger, situated on either side of the aisle. Lightweight and fixed, the seat doesn’t, however, provide with a recliner, which the experts say is redundant as there will be enough space for the traveller to simply lie down. If you taller ones are afraid that it might not be long enough for you, well, the seat is a sprawling 185 centimetres and thus can easily fit a 6’ft tall person.
Long hauls are now more comfortable than ever with these seats, offering ample leg space and cushioned seating for a complete bed-like experience. Now you can snuggle up or stretch those stiffened legs, without having to worry about the traveller next seat, or the lack of leg space. Sleep, sprawl across, or simply throw those tired legs around—your comfort is a priority in this lavish, lie-flat seating freshly introduced by Airbus. There’s also a TV screen, personal space for all your belongings, an overhead locker and a tray table.
It is definitely an inviting concept, especially if you are a business class traveller. So with this new line of lie-flat seats, we are sure that business won’t always mean tiring!

A wanderer and foodie woven into one. Constantly looking out for miraculous events, those haunting encounters, and some luck of universe to be marvelled at this thing called life. While music keeps me going, I hate to stay at one place for very long. Not a Netflix junkie, but Gosh, what I wouldn’t do to watch a good old 90’s flick on big screen.
