This was the rare spectacle that filled my senses when I revisited my favourite den in the world, this time, in a unique fashion—atop a hot air balloon. This is how it came about. The enthralling expedition began when I woke up in the early hours and hit the launch site at 5:30 am. Savouring some light refreshments, I watched with awe as the giant balloon came to life. After being inducted with some important advice, I stepped inside the basket. It was a goosebumpy moment for me when the Hot Air Balloon lifted off into the clear sky.

A bird’s eye view of the luscious monuments wrapped in the morning-dew bewitched me and I could feel pristine air embracing me. Just then the golden glimmer of the sun-splashed my face and I witnessed a gorgeous sunrise. Painting the scintillating panorama with dazzling hues, the dawn embraced my being. Capturing this mesmeric memory on my camera, I descended onto the grounds, but my heart was above and beyond the clouds. I collected my memento and a certificate to mark this blazing day.
