Holiday Expert Town Hall Meet 2015: Awesome Blossom!

Flashes! Flashes! all over as ladies dressed in their finest for the “awesome blossom” theme posed for clicks, walking glamorously towards the hall where a grand event awaited them. No, I’m not talking about the IIFA held in Malaysia this year; I’m describing the Holiday Expert (MHEx) Town Hall Meet 2015 at Hotel Pllazio, Gurgaon. From the MakeMyTrip Holiday Expert Team performing to a Punjabi tune to fun games, this event had it all.

Let the Show Begin

Exchange of greetings, laughter and warmth filled the hall when Aditi Guliani stepped on stage to welcome the MHEx and invited Ranjeet Oak to address the gathering.

After Ranjeet Oak (Cheif Busniess Officer) motivated the MHEx on building expertise and honoured their hard work and efforts, it was time for the much awaited awards ceremony!

Certificates were given by Yuvaraj Srivastava(Chief Human Resourse Officer) for CustoMore- awards given to MHEx for making every experience an exceptional one for their customers. Other awards were divided into two categories- GPM and transactions which were given away by the L-team members.

There were sweet surprises planned for the winners - written/video messages from their husbands! While Abha Bajaja knew the writer by reading the very first line, the very LONG message made Swati Anand turn red! Those letters really left a huge smiles on their faces.  

After receiving the award of the highest GPM, vintage category, Juhi Gandhi (who has been a part of the HE channel for more than three years), described the channel as a “platform for women who are homemakers and want to do something substantial in the in the outside world and be proud of themselves.”

The members of the newly found one year old team- My STF(Our Special Task Force) were also honored with certificates. It was a pilot launched a year back with the objective of improving business health, which is in full swing now and an integral part of Holiday Expert Team.  

 Inspirational Chat Time

The awards ceremony was followed by Yuvaraj Srivastava’s inspiring words.  He honored the work of MHEx by stating “integrity and commitment of a women is unmatched.”

Rajesh Magow (Co Founder and CEO-India)  threw light on the achievements and growth of the MHE channel, the company’s acquisitions, turnover and overall growth.

Sushil Verma (Vice President) engaged the audience with his unique Bollywood style of connecting every message with a movie, a super success. He encouraged every MHE to be ‘Shandar, Zabardast and Zindabad’. He captivated the audience with his anecdotes and inspired the MHEx with his heartfelt speech.

Of course, no THM is complete without a bit of fun!

The Party Continues

Aditi had fun games planned for the ladies; from HEs looking for secret gifts in their bags to “awesome blossom” tongue twisters.  

After that, it was time to crown three ladies- Swati Singh, Navleen Mehta, and Malika Chopra, who were best dressed in accordance with the ‘awesome blossom’ theme.

 

While heading for lunch, there was yet another surprise in store for the MHEx - special ‘you are awesome’ cards from the MakeMyTrip Holiday Expert Team  for each of the lady.

After the lip-smacking lunch, everyone marched on to the dance floor to shake a leg on popular dance numbers. The enthusiasm that these women have can beat the energy of a teenager any day.

A day full of laughter, enjoyment and bonding came to an end when everyone bid goodbye. And indeed our very hardworking HEs who have taken this channel to great heights, deserved every bit of it!

Hats off to the MakeMyTrip Holiday Expert Team for understanding the importance the day has in the lives of the HEs and putting in their best to make this event a grand success.
