Bullet Train, India: What Do We Know so Far

Unless you’re living under a rock, you’d know that India is gearing up for its very first Bullet Train. And we couldn’t be more excited, for how much time travellers would save journeying between places. Modelled on the Japan Bullet Trains (called Shinkansen), the first proposed route in India is the Ahmedabad-Mumbai line. The INR 1.1 lakh crore project borrows 80% of the amount as a loan from Japan with an interest rate of 0.1%. That’s enough on the stats! Glacier Express, Switzerland
