Moving forward with its expansion plans, Jetstar announced setting up of two new brands – Jetstar Japan and Jetstar Hong Kong. At present, it offers cheap flights to over 60 destinations across 16 nations and territories. Besides, it is the largest low cost airline in the Asia Pacific region in terms of revenue.

The impressive fleet of aircrafts of Jetstar airlines is one of the major contributors to its success. Jetstar Airways, Jetstar Asia and Jetstar Pacific boast of a fleet of Airbus A320, which has the widest cabin amongst single-aisle carriers. These flights can accommodate between 177 passengers (Australia and New Zealand) and 180 passengers (across Asia). Besides A320, the Airbus A321 is also a part of the Jetstar Airways’ fleet. This airbus has a higher seating capacity of around 220.
