Air Astana Airlines Checked Baggage Allowance

 

The free checked baggage allowance on all Air Astana Airlines flights depends on the weight and dimensions of baggage, along with the class of cabin and route in which you are travelling.

  • If you are travelling from and to Kazakhstan towards Moscow, Baku, Saint Petersburg, Tashkent, Omsk, Tbilisi, Kazan, etc., those with a Classic ticket can check in 20 kg of baggage, whereas, those travelling with Plus, Business Saver and Business Flex tickets can check in up to 30 kg of baggage.
  • The airline also has special baggage allowances for certain routes, such as Istanbul – Delhi - Istanbul, Delhi – Kiev - Delhi, Delhi – Tbilisi - Delhi, Delhi – Moscow – Delhi, Delhi – Saint Petersburg – Delhi, etc., which is limited to 30 kg.

  • For all these cases and travel classes, the total linear dimension (sum of length, breadth and weight) should not exceed 158 cm and the weight per bag should not exceed 32 kg. If your bag exceeds a total linear dimension of 158 cm or a weight of 32 kg, you will be charged per kg and excluded from free baggage allowance.
