Monal Resort

Stay and comfort was below par. We had six rooms in our booking and air conditioning wasn’t working in two rooms. In the remaining rooms, the temperature would not go below 26C. There are lots of insects and bugs around the property and the management needs to do something to keep the insects out of the room. Restaurant and taste of food is again below par. I do not recommend this hotel.

Not a good value for money.

Excellent location, quiet and facing the alakhnanda. Beautiful gardens in the whole estate and a spacious room, clean and good bedding, with a view to the river. Very kind and efficient staff always ready to answer your questions and satisfy your demands, both at the restaurant and the housekeeping. Food was quite good and also good breakfast particularly for indian taste.

Hotel location is surely great however rest of everything from amenities to food to hotel was extremely substandard, no value for money paying a night upto 12k ! is a absolute no no

Beautiful location. Person at reception in night are well behaved. Food average, rooms are spacious but bathroom are bad. Need maintenance.

Very good resort. Location is amazing right at the river. All rooms i thk are river facing. You can go to river from here. They have made path for that for better view take premium rooms. They could have done better job in cleaning the room but not so bad. Staff is polite and supportive.

Took a night halt at hotel monal rudraprayag on our way to badrinath. It’s a 24 year old hotel, but so well maintained, clean with nice well maintained rooms. It looks like few years old only. The surrounding is beautiful and the property well kept. Food is awesome. Tasty and wholesome. Nice relaxing stay. Recommend.

Although the hotel management provided us good deluxe room the upkeep maintenance of the vroom was average. Especially hair on the floor and overall hotel cleanliness room wall balcony painting and restaurant chairs seat were pretty bad shape. Requires lot of refurbishing. Hotel mgmt should be strict with guests with respect to smoking inside room. The room was smelling with cigarette smoke. At-least they should have non smoking sign boards or non smoking rooms fir some guests

Rooms was awful no hot water and smelled moldy no handicapped rooms and was put in a corner room not much amenities and old travel-led towels i had a horrible experience and for what the property charged was not with it

Monal is a very cute, neat and hygienic place with excellent location. Food is like homecooked. This is the best choice if u are visiting hemkund sahib or valley of flowers

View from hotel is very good.

Location of the property is very good. But the quality of water provided per room is very low, only 1 bottle for 3 people. Moreover switches in the rooms were not working for charging. It was lot of discomfort

Very badly maintained property not worth more than inr 1000 per night don’t know why this is rated high very disappointed stay

Their drinage sysytem is so bad that water was taking time to leave even in hand wash sink

Good job keep it up, great location, good hygiene, nice food and helpful staff. Food was good but limited variety. Over priced for the facility provided.

Every thing was good but room rate was over priced.

Just use for night to stay not more than that
