Totally ill mannered and uncouth staff. Make shift table as a reception counter. No proper check in process. Rooms are very ordinary, unhygienic, poorly maintained. Basic things like a glass for drinking water missing! fan works at only one speed, walls are dirty, bathrooms were ok but towels were torn and stinking. Food quality was average. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I should never recommend this place to anyone.

Untidy rooms and bathroom, pungent smell, overnight disturbance because of some bachelor party in the immediate next room for which management has no control. Was charged 7400 on mm t whereas after visit i understand same room is sold by owner for inr 4300 itself. Which is a huge difference

Good place for a family stay however no food options to choose. The place is very close to nearest talaguppa railway station and to jog falls

Please dont book this place worst maintained food worst rooms not clean over all not recommended for family's

Best place to stay safely and they are good at room service and taste food [lunch and dinner at 150rs for unlimited] evening snacks is also good, it could be good if indoor games have been offered,

Warm pool with fresh water amid-st greenery. Friendly and responsive staff, and a serene location. Rooms were a tad small and basic. Missed some comforts like shampoo and other bath accessories. Missed to notice that the rooms had no tv or ac. However, without tv, we had an awesome sleep.

Stayed in the cottages, 2 families. It was a great stay, clean, peaceful and with the nature.

Stay was good. Ambiance was great. But there was no room service and not many options for food.

Food was below average, expensive for what was served, didn't bother to refill.

It was a home Stay and not a hotel and we got confused because at the time of booking the hotel I thought probably it was a hotel with all the facilities like a hotel. Did not much like the place

Dirty bathtub and washroom were full of snails.

We had some insects bitten while sleeping and rashes appeared on the body.

The resort looks serene and clean. Lot of greeneries Around and closer to jog Falls. Cottages are preferred than bungalow rooms. Food spread is very much limited and could be improved.

The place was too good. I'd been here with my friends, our plan was for a one day trip but loved the stay so much that we extended it to another day. Place is very clean. Well maintained. The staff here are very friendly. Location to major tourist spot is perfect. The jog Falls is just little far from the site. Overall had an amazing experience at Matthuga. Looking forward to coming back soon. Cheers.
