Hotel Simon King

This hotel is average. Initially, we had to talk to the hotel owner and there was some discussion to get checked in as he said that there's some communication issue between the hotel and MakeMyTrip. The hotel is near to the tarkarli and sindhu durg fort. They also provided the scooty on rent. Overall, recommended only if you are on a tight budget. Not recommended for a family stay.

The hotel is on the good location, the local market and beautiful beaches are near by distance, the hotel room are nee t and clean, food is also good, the breakfast and the lunch available at hotel there is no dinner available due to hotels kitchen closed at 4 pm. You have to go outside for the dinner. There is no ac room available in the hotel only non ac room are there. Not preferable in summer season. Due to hot weather

Staff was friendly, made the stay comfortable. Room and bathroom was good for the money we paid. Ac and tv worked well

Location is prime. Close to malvan depot 2 minutes distance. Food was good. Can be improved over a time. It is completely safe, hygiene was good.

The host was very welcoming. He not only helped us with the room but also helped us with travel/sightseeing arrangements. The Hotel room is spacious and budget friendly. I'll recommend the same to all my fellow friends.

For price we paid. Location was good (right next to the bus stand. Rooms were quite spacious. Service persons were helpful. No major complaints. Bathroom cleanliness and fixtures need to improve. Rest was great

It's near by bus depot so one can move more faster, staff was more helpful and room was very good.
Bed sheet was not cleaned or has big yellow patch rest all room was fine

I was surprised to know that my booking is not confirmed. I drove down from Blore only to be told there is no booking in my name. They later confirmed that they received intimation late and could not arrange a room for me even though I paid for the bookings (2 nights 3 days). The Manager helped out by arranging temporary room for the day and then on subsequent day got me another room at the same place. This experience is purely due to lack of communication between Make My Trip and the hotel concerned. This should be avoided as customers would assume that booking is confirmed and reach the hotel to have this bad experience.

It should be considered as a good budget hotel. Bang in Malvan city, just next to bus station and market with some good restaurant options nearby. 1-2 km away from Malvan beach, sindudurg fort, chivla beach and rock garden.
