HOTEL NEW SS RESIDENCY

I don't recommend this hotel to other travellers due to below mentioned reasons. 1. Toilet flush was not working. 2. Geezer was not fitted in bathroom. 3. Non availability of tea making machine. 4. No provision for iron for clothes press. 5. Breakfast was provided in front of hotel & only ch-ole bhature was the option. I never ever again visit to this kind of hotel.

The hotel rooms were not clean. The geyser was not working, complained about it but not resolved. Washroom was not clean. No amenities provided like soap, towel, mineral water, etc. However, they allowed us early checking in as rooms were not occupied.

Food and hygiene are good, budget hotel

Staff doesn't provide you even the water when asked many times.

I traveled solo and my stay was one of the worst stay of my life, hotel facilities are poor they are not wearing mask they don't care about social distancing and hygiene, no body care for order or other things, after giving order to reception they forget and say mistakes are done by human only no to worry. They call you ten times a day their telephone line is like everyone call will come one room. Totally disturbing place worst stay. Bedding is so hard that nobody can sleep for long. They don't provide bathing kit. I never prefer anyone to stay at this hotel there are many good hotels in amritsar at this rate. I change my stay in middle of my tour.

Location is good and best option in budgeted hotels

Hotel is in main market area. No parking area. Busy day time roads. Overall ok experience. Liked staff service.

Experience was not very good.

At 1100 rupees a night, this is a value for money option near regent cinema, next to the famous Giani Di Lassi. There is also a whole bhature right opposite the Hotel. Rooms do not have much natural light thanks to the congested locality. Thankfully the ac and exhaust fan was working. Choose this place if you are looking for a no frills low cost option but with Sarai Saragrahi near the Golden temple being thrown open to public, this place is bound to lose out.

Don't expect the rooms to match with the pictures that you might See when you make the booking online. Except the reception area the rooms are quite seedy. Yes the wifi worried without a hitch.
