SURPRISE ME!

Have you ever stayed at a place that was made entirely of salt?
From beds to walls to dining table to chairs?
Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the largest salt flat in the world. On my yearlong journey to South America, I had every intention of stopping by this magnificent location. The place that left this very talkative girl out of words!

The three-day tour in the national park ends at the salt flats for people who begin in Chile. The days are for places that seem surreal, like the lake with large flamingos, the hot springs, the quinoa farms, the moonlit villages, the natural geysers and the clear lakes with llamas strolling around in herds.

I absolutely loved my time in Salar de Uyuni, it was like an artist's most stunning creation.
