This memorial temple was built in fond memory of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, on the premises of the three storied ancestral Haveli where he was born, The haveli is beautifully transformed into a museum which exhibits Gandhi’s old photographs, few of his prized possessions, library of books either authored by him or relating to Gandhian Philosophy and more. Kirti Mandir houses 2 life-size paintings of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi in reverence.

Located at Ranavav Taluka, this is one of the most unique places to visit in Porbandar. Mythology says that Jambuvan, the eternal devotee of Lord Rama once lived here. He is believed to have been blessed by the Lord, and thus lived through three different eras.
This cave runs very deep, with a small opening for sunlight. Within the cave you will find a one-of-a-kind Shiv Ling made up of sand and beautiful natural carvings. There’s also a revered Shiva temple outside the cave.
Nestled between Veraval and Dwarka and also known as Wellingdon Marina Beach, it is one of the top tourist attractions in Porbandar. It is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the serenity while watching the crashing waves and fishing boats. You can also spot flamingos and other shore birds here or gaze at the massive landscape from the hills nearby.
Most of us have grown up listening to Krishna-Sudama’s friendship tales. But, did you know that Sudama was from Porbandar? This temple in Porbandar is dedicated to Sudama and Krishna. Beautifully carved in white marble, this temple exhibits several wall murals and sculptures depicting iconic stories of Krishna and Sudama.

Located by the sea shore at Marine Drive, Huzoor Palace is a popular palace which draws a heavy number of tourists every year. It was in the early 20th century that Maharaja Natwarsinhji – the last ruler of the princely state of Porbandar, constructed this Indo-European styled palace. Although entry to the palace is prohibited, since it is still a private property of the descendants of Natwarsinhji, you can still admire its beauty from outside.
